Signs That Your Ex Wants You Back?

When you are emotionally invested in wanting to get your ex back is there a way that you can tell if your ex actually wants you back? Well, yes, there are actually signs you can look for.

One sign is when your ex starts showing up unexpectedly wherever you are.  Don’t think it is a coincidence. Your ex knows your habits it will not be hard for your ex to figure out where you will be at any given time. So if this is happening then it is a pretty good sign that your ex is making an effort to see you and probably is thinking very seriously about getting back together with you.

Another indication is if your ex shows up and is looking happy and well groomed. The standard advice is always to put on a positive face and be as attractive as possible if you want to rekindle the romance with an ex. Hey, it’s not a bad idea even if you are not broken up!

If your ex is all of a sudden contacting you about little things, like asking for advice or finding any excuse to talk to you then it’s pretty sure they are trying to get back with you. Now here is a good opportunity for you to make a move to get the two of you back together. When your ex contacts you for something small or unimportant again ask him or her to meet someplace and have a friendly chat. This can be the smart way to get closer to your ex in a non-threatening way.

Now the bad news is that if your ex is nowhere to be found then he/she may not want you back. But sometimes they are just staying away because they have heard “absence makes the heart grow fonder.” Although that is an old technique that doesn’t always work. The only real way to get back together is to communicate. How can you fix any problem in your relationship if you don’t see or talk to each other? Provided it is mutual that you both want to get back together.

Unfortunately there is a lot of advice out there that tells people to play hard to get. And sometimes that works but you have to be careful. There is the old saying “out of sight out of mind”, which can push your ex into someone else’s arms. It’s a delicate balancing act you have to do when using any advice.

A friend of mine was advised to date someone else because this would make their ex jealous and want them back. Well, it didn’t work. It made their ex so mad that they just decided not to even try to get their ex back and they moved on to someone else. It was a mess on both sides.
